The Region Kristiansand Inter-Municipal Political Council consists of the six municipalities: Birkenes, Iveland, Kristiansand, Lillesand, Lindesnes and Vennesla.

With its 175,000 inhabitants, over 55 % of Agder’s population resides in this region, making it the largest residential and work area between Oslo and Stavanger in Norway.

The regional collaboration focuses on advocacy, service cooperation, and creating meeting places.
